The Imaging Core Lab (ICL) or iCRO industry is now more than 30 years old. And what an eventful 30 years it has been. Numerous companies have been founded, merged, and acquired in the space as imaging has become an increasingly critical component to so many clinical trials. Consolidation across the industry has been a leading story, particularly over the last 20 years. In the first six months of this year alone, five significant mergers have taken place.
